Often, we feel too overwhelmed or are simply too busy to tackle an organising project alone. You might find that your space isn't working for you, and the clutter is becoming a source of stress, but you don't know where to start or don't have the time to spare. That is where a professional organiser comes in.
Clutter can negatively impact our lives both physically and mentally. Hiring a professional helps you reclaim your time and reduces the constant frustration caused by inefficient spaces. It allows you to reach the goal of living in a space that truly works for you, while being supported in a kind and understanding way.
It’s surprisingly difficult to be objective about a space you are in all the time. I bring a fresh pair of eyes to see the potential that isn't always obvious when you’re in the middle of it. My role is to take that mental weight off your shoulders and set up systems that make your space feel effortless again.
Clutter is anything that you don't really need or want anymore, and that is getting in the way of how you want to live. It’s the stuff that’s been 'piling up' because life got busy. This creates a visual tension that makes a room feel crowded and difficult to relax in. By addressing what isn't working for you, we move from a space that feels overwhelming to one that feels enjoyable to be in.
Every project is unique, which is why I offer a completely bespoke service. While decluttering is an essential part of the process, there are no "rules" about how much you should keep. Whether you want to donate many items or just a few, the decision depends entirely on your personal goals for the space.
We complete the decluttering process together, and I will never force you to let go of anything you don’t want to. My approach is understanding and supportive; I believe in the importance of living in spaces that work for you, but I do not believe you have to be extreme or minimalist to be organised.
Absolutely. I am happy to support you with projects of any scale—from decluttering and organising a single cupboard to managing an entire house move. My service is entirely flexible and designed to be bespoke to your needs.
Definitely not! The reason for hiring a professional organiser is to get help with the organising process, so please don’t worry about being judged. Seeing your space exactly as it usually is gives me the best understanding of how you live, what is or isn't working, and how you would ideally like it to be.
I am very aware that I am coming into your home or workspace; I want you to feel as comfortable as possible with that. I offer a free, no-obligation consultation to help with this; it allows you to get to know me whilst we establish your project requirements making you feel as comfortable as possible.
My service is entirely bespoke, so I offer clear hourly rates based on the type of support you need (in-person and virtual). You can view my current rates on the pricing page.
Absolutely. My goal is always to create spaces that are realistic to maintain in the long term.
Because every project is bespoke, I will set up systems that fit your routine and your lifestyle. By using simple categorisation and storage that makes sense for you, I’ll ensure the space is easy to look after long after the project is finished.
If you lead a busy life and would prefer occasional help to keep things on track, I also offer ongoing in-person or virtual maintenance sessions to make sure your home continues to work perfectly for you.
Your belongings are personal to you, so your input is essential during the consultation and the decluttering stages. Before we start working together, I typically begin by categorising items. This helps us both see exactly what you have. I will then be there to support you through the decluttering choices, making the process less overwhelming.
Discussing your goals and understanding what works best for your routine and lifestyle is a crucial part of the bespoke service I offer. The aim is to ensure the final organised space truly suits your needs. Once the decluttering is complete, you are welcome to leave the physical organising to me. Occasionally, check-ins may be needed to ensure the new systems are perfectly tailored for you.
I would recommend that you don't. It’s actually better to wait until the decluttering is done so we can see exactly what we’re working with. We can then look at either repurposing what you already have, or finding the right storage solutions to buy that will fit your space perfectly.
